The Marham Poultry House

The House:

This is a quality hen house made with 12.5mm shiplap and 12mm flooring

Any aspect of this house can be altered to suit your requirements and is delivered ready built (nest box & legs are removed for safety)

Features:

• Outer nesting box measures 12 inches wide x 13 inches high. The depth will match the depth of the chosen house. Comes with hinged lid for easy access and can be mounted on either side of the house

• Lift off timber roofing for easy access - this has an inner lining and is silicone sealed, so is watertight

• Air vent holes front & rear
  

• Sliding pop hole door (will be horizontal on small houses or if you order a run with the house). This can be altered to a normal opening door at no extra charge (see 'Extras' listed below)
  

• 1 perch in the Small size - 2 in the Medium & Large
  

• Access ramp with runners - length depends on height of legs

• Sturdy removable legs - the houses are set at 10 inches off the ground but this can be altered to a maximum of 18 inches at no extra cost

• Ready stained in a choice of wood protecting colours or can be left unstained if required

The amount of birds these sizes will hold are estimated and vary with breed size

• Small: (up to 4 birds) 30 ins wide x 24 ins deep x 24 ins high @ £154.95

• Medium: ( up to 6 birds) 36 ins wide x 30 ins deep x 30 ins high @ £184.95

• Large: ( up to 10 birds) 42 ins wide x 36 ins deep x 30 ins high @ £214.95

These sizes do not include the nest box or leg measurements

Extras are available at cost - please see below for more details

We can 'box in' the underneath of the house to create a dry area (see picture above). The height of the legs on the chosen house will then be altered to raise it 18 inches off the ground to allow your birds enough head room underneath.

This is made using wire panels (the back panel can be removed for easy access to the underneath of the house so is useful for storing feeders & drinkers) or can be enclosed with timber.
